Principlist Parliamentarian:

Infiltration ‘rampant’ in Rouhani’s administration

TEHRAN, Oct. 25 (MNA) – A Principlist representative and member of Parliament NSFPC has said infiltration cases in Rouhani’s government have become almost ten-fold, evidence shows.

Javad Karimi Qoddousi who was speaking in a Parliament open session of Tuesday provided several cases of infiltration he believed the government officials had turned a blind eye upon or at best, infiltrators had been tolerated in the ranks and files of the administration.

His specific references were in nuclear negotiations when a negotiator, responsible for easing of banking sanctions, received lump sum from an institute in London to make the sanctions perpetuate. “Mr. Abdol Rasul Dorri Isfahani (arrested earlier in September in a travel to Turkey along with Zarif) received £7,500 a month for his efforts to have sanctions perpetuate,” he told Parliament. “The Ministry of Intelligence should explain what measures it had taken vis-à-vis these infiltration attempts which have been largely successful; Parliament Presiding Board should hold a closed session so that I could provide more extensive account of the infiltration operations,” he added.

Karimi Qoddousi accounted Jason Rezaian of Washington Post as spying for the US whom “even reported removing of martyr’s portraits from Tehran streets to his fellow government in Washington.”

He also believed oil scandal known as Crescent where Iran’s NIOC had lost the case in the court, that the nation sustained damage of $18bn; subsequently, Karimi Qoddousi went on to add ‘British brand of Shi’ism,’ intensely hated by the Establishment and excommunicated openly, as other case of infiltration, where “British government provide training of the arts of speech making to fake Ayatollahs to return them to Iran so that the project of infiltration in religious principles could be advanced.”

“The same Dorri Isfahani had an accomplice, former nuclear negotiator Sirous Nasseri, also suspected of spying for foreign powers, and along with a Presidential office authority, they regularly met in the office,” he claimed. “Our nuclear negotiator received salary to have sanctions perpetuate, while he was received a hero’s welcome when returning Tehran and was awarded by gold coins. Our evidence shows that British embassy provided logistics and ideological aid to the conspirators and the seducers,” he emphasized.

Karimi Qoddousi extended infiltration project to even slowing the pace of progress in technological and scientific projects, satellite industry, and attracting the scientific elites to foreign universities; “they also launched their project in a European embassy in Tehran where they hand-picked from women guests to candidates to lure high-ranking authorities in the system, which was code-named ‘Parastou’ (swallow). The best example yet is a prominent nuclear negotiator who exchanged presents with John Kerry of the US, and which on Monday, Foreign Ministry spokesperson justified it as advancing the negotiations,” Karimi Qoddousi said.

The media, Mr. Karimi Qoddousi believed, “was the major hub where journalists receive regular training to advance infiltration and act as the proxies of the foreign intelligence machinery.”

Meanwhile, in the same Parliament open session Mahmoud Alavi, Minister of Intelligence was quoted by Masoud Pezeshkian, the Speaker of the session, that investigation into Dorri Isfahani’s case had revealed no spying activities.
